Every competitor who signs up for April 12′s Grappling Industries Montreal tournament will receive a limited edition rash guard! We wanted to make sure we give each of you a great quality and sublimated printed short sleeve rash guard that has a great design and lasts you more than a few weeks on the mats. The rash guard is being designed by Jeff Lopes of Kimurawear with the consultant help on behalf of Grappling Industries by Gabriella Rapone. Two great minds coming together, it should be something awesome. During registration for the tournament, you will have the choice to select your rash guard size.
-2 Gi and 2 NoGi division will be added. 2 for the men and 2 for the women. 1 Gi and 1 NoGi for each the men and women.
-These divisions will be absolute. (Gi: any belt / any weight) and (NoGi: any experience / any weight)
-These divisions will be single elimination, 5 minutes in length, and follow IBJJF points / advantages.
-You must have registered for at least 1 Gi or NoGi division in the tournament to participate in these two absolutes. For example, you can register for the Gi division Blue Belt at -136 pounds if that’s your division as well as compete in both of these absolutes.

Any corrections that need to be made to the competitor’s list need to be made by Wednesday, April 16, at 9pm. To issue a correction to the competitor’s list, please use the CONTACT tab on our website. We will be posting and updating the competitor’s list every night starting 5 day before registration deadline, and will be posting the brackets as well as schedule on the Thursday.
*ROUND ROBIN Gi and NoGi Tournament*
-Every Adult fight is recorded and uploaded FREE of charge.
-Kids, Juniors, Adults, and Masters divisions.
-All of our referees are experienced and trained.
-Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals for all divisions.
Check-Ins, Weigh-Ins, Start Times:
*Gi competitors can check-in and weigh-in from 7am to 8:45am Saturday morning as the Gi portion of the tournament will start at 9am sharp. Competitors who compete in the Gi weigh-in without their Gi on and if competing in NoGi as well, only need to weigh in once.
*NoGi competitors can check-in and weigh-in Saturday from 11am to 12:45pm as the NoGi portion of the tournament will start at 1:30pm.
